The LV Series is available in 13 models ranging from ½ to 6 tons. Most (but not all) of these units are available in either vertical, horizontal, or counterflow configurations. All cabinetry is constructed using heavy-gauge, G-60 galvanized steel.
These units offer several advantages, including:
- Low installation costs (fit through a standard 36″ door)
- Lower operating costs
- Flexibility and comfort
- Energy efficiency
- Very small footprint
- Superior quality and longevity
- Quiet operation
Safety, longevity, and quiet operation are achieved by lining interior surfaces with 1/2″ thick, 1.5 lb./cu.ft. density, Micromat insulation for thermal insulation and acoustical attenuation. This insulation is non-combustible, non-hydroscopic and does not support fungal growth. Insulation meets NFPA 90A and 90B for fire protection and is certified to meet the GREENGUARD® Indoor Air Quality Standard for Low Emitting Products.
Protection against corrosion is another benefit for the LV unit. A stainless steel drain pan will last the lifetime of the unit and resist corrosion and cracking that may occur with steel or plastic materials.
Get Extra Protection with the Bronze Glow Option
Our LV Series units with Bronze Glow technology have successfully passed the 10,000 hour salt spray test! Most companies do not achieve 10,000 hours on this test.
With this option we Bronze Glow coat the evaporator and hot gas reheat coils, the interior blower cabinetry, and outer unit—greatly increasing the unit’s resistance to the hostile conditions of an indoor pool environment and/or salt air.
